Julio Antonio is a public Secondary School located in the municipality of Móra d’Ebre, in the north-east of Spain, in the autonomous community of Catalonia, next to the Ebre river. The school has about 70 staff (57 are teachers) and serves a population of about 510 students. Most of the students come from small villages nearby. We provide different types of education: Secondary Compulsory Education (11 to 16 years), Pre-university courses (16 to 18 years), Vocational Training and Higher Education (16 to 18 years). In Vocational Education Training we have the following specialisations:
Our centre also provides a space for an Official Language School and an Adult School.
We also have the ECHE 2021-27 and the KA120 SCH Accreditation so we have experience doing staff and students mobility.
Our school is placed in a rural environment, where agriculture and livestock are the main sources of income and rural-urban migration is gradually growing. Therefore, as teachers, we feel the need to persuade our pupils not to leave for the big cities and appreciate their rural territory and all the possibilities it can offer.
